Description
Ala Moana is a luxurious outdoor mall with three distinct levels. On the third level, savor the romantic view over Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and Ala Moana Beach. Kick back at the Mai Tai Bar amongst torches, plush tropical
furniture, and live music. Enjoy yummy, inexpensive food in an upbeat atmosphere at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. This is my favorite choice if you have kids because they even have a huge spread of toys outside that your kids can play with while you wait for your table!
On the second level, stop with your kids and watch the carp swim in the rock-wall pond by the Fendi store. A fountain with wide blue step-like levels also delights. Ride the glass elevator that is next to the pool. Also on the second level, the Japanese department store, Shirokiya, is an interesting place to explore.
On the ground floor at Jungle Fun, kids can play arcade games and climb on their knees up to the ceiling, protected by mesh. Snakes, monkeys, and giraffes pop out of the corners and walls making for a fun atmosphere. Nearby, read some stories at Barnes and Noble Booksellers.
Ala Moana is the biggest open-air mall in the world! You can't go wrong with a visit here. It's a beautiful, upscale mall.
