Description

I was so excited when we drove past Camp Erdman! It really is the home for the Others in the TV show "Lost." You can see the little yellow houses, which in real life are camp dorms. And the gazebo in the center of the village. It has that same surreal feel that it has on "Lost" because of the mighty mountains that loom behind it. You have to drive by and see it!
Other sites featured in "Lost" are: Kualoa Ranch, Byodo-In Temple, Police Beach, and Waimea Falls Park.
While you're in this area, check out the kite surfers at lovely white-sanded Mokuleia Beach.

Directions

Camp Erdman is a YMCA camp located at 69-385 Farrington Hwy in Waialua. Call (808) 637-4615.
From the North Shore, follow the signs to Mokuleia or Waialua. Then just drive along Farrington Hwy. You will pass Dillingham Airfield on the left. Keep driving until you see the yellow buildings of Camp Erdman on your left.
