Snug Harbor Christmas Lights

NOTE: Check the Palm Beach Post with a google news search to see if it's on this year before driving out. 12/18/16 it was turned off for the season by one of the neighbors- very sad.
Every December (until Dec 26), residents of Snug Harbor Drive create a phenomenal Christmas light display on their entire loop road. The little white lights in the canopy of high twisty trees are enough to delight, but add to that moving blue lights that look like snow falling down. Then there are the huge light displays like a toy factory placed on the gate of a mansion, Santa in a helicopter, reindeer and Santa's sleigh flying across the sky, candy canes, gingerbread men, toy train, cupcake on stand, horse and carriage, Noah's ark, Santa in a balloon, swans, flamingoes, wise men on camels, and a gingerbread house. There is a tree with giant light bulbs in it- I love that one! At the entrance, light displays of soldiers with bugles welcome you to the drive. It's so awe-inspiring that you'll surely want to turn in and make the drive again!
Come on a weekday night for less traffic.
Downtown at the Gardens has a fantastic Christmas light show synchronized to music (6-9pm) in December too, and live bands playing. Another place to see outstanding Christmas lights is the house at 202 Woodbridge Dr in Jupiter. Wow this will blow you away! Taking a drive along Hollywood St and the surrounding streets in The Heights, a neighborhood of Jupiter, is also great!
Another wonderful thing to do at Christmastime is the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden Festival of Trees.
