Description

Allied Gardens Community Park is a large stretch of grass in plain part of town. There's an older playground with various metal structures over a large sand pit. Animal sculptures provide some fun climbing for kids.
For a newer park on a hill, check out Grantville Neighborhood Park nearby.

It's not that often that you get a blue sky in San Diego- lots of slightly brown marine layer.

Directions

From Waring/College Rd, go west on Zion Ave and then turn immediately right on Glenroy St. You will see the park and plenty of parking spaces along the road.
