Description
Barney Schwartz Sports Park has two playgrounds. The lower playground has an amazing wooden play structure with tons of colorful equipment. There's a large gazebo where you can sit in the shade at picnic tables and look on the bright green trees, rainbow flower beds, and the pretty hill with its zigzagging path. Little houses, tunnels, and all manner of gizmos to climb and swing on await you! In summer come very early or at sunset unless you want to bake. For a short fun walk, take the path up the hill to the Lake and Upper Playground.
Explore Paso Robles town and its historical buildings, colorful candy shop, and cafes when you're done playing.

Directions
Click "satellite" to see where the lower playground is, amongst the large Barney Schwartz Complex. From Highway 101, exit at Hwy 46 East (don't exit at Hwy 46 West- it's a different road altogether) toward Bakersfield. Head east on Hwy 46 and then turn right on Paso Robles Blvd. Turn left on Union Rd. There is a huge parking lot.
