Description

Marriott World Center is a super fun resort to stay at! The pool area is a paradise. Waterfalls cascade into the pool, which is more like a lake than a pool it's so big. You can swim under the waterfalls, and at night they are lit in changing colors, which looks so lovely! Hibiscus plants, tall coconut trees, and exotic flowers add to the prettiness, as do the yellow umbrellas. There is a waterslide for kids, and a sandy play area by the pool where they can use a bucket to wet the sand and build to their heart's content. Even if it's windy outside, for some reason the pool area is sheltered from it and kids can play happily in the pleasant weather.
Decorative waterfalls and pools grace the hotel grounds, and the rooms are spacious.
The sports bar is noisy but fun to eat at. If you can though, leave the hotel and eat at Bahama Breeze, a Caribbean restaurant with a giant outdoor patio where you can sit in a tropical setting and listen to a reggae musician playing a steel drum and singing. The West Indies curry is incredible! We eat here every time we go to Orlando because it's so good! See link to Fort Myers branch for photos of what this restaurant looks like.
