Description

Charles L. Honn Botanical Garden is a tiny garden located in the middle of Camarillo suburbia. It's a lush spot and a nice scene to take in if you're in the area. There are lovely native flowers, Redwood trees and a gazebo. While you're there, check out the Pleasant Valley Historical Museum in front of the garden. It's in a small building and has rotating exhibits about the history of this area, including the Chumas Indians, the local ranchos, and early 20th century tools and telephones. Sometimes they have Living History days with hands on activities such as crafts and toy-making.

Charles L. Honn Botanical Garden is located behind the Pleasant Valley Historical Museum on Las Posas Rd opposite Avenida del Manzano at 720 N. Las Posas Rd. If you punch this address into google maps it gives you the wrong location so don't do it! Use the map here. The phone number on the museum website doesn't seem to be correct. Hours are Sat and Sun from noon-4pm.
