Conejo Community Park, Thousand Oaks

Ventura, California, USA

Description

Conejo Community Park will bring a lot of joy to your day! First there's the rolling green hills beside a creek, where kids can run free and hop over the rocks. The gnarled oak trees add a lot of atmosphere. Then there's the new playground with a sand pit, rows of swings, a small space net, a colorful play structure, and best of all, a whole section of boulders and ropes to climb! Older kids have plenty to do in the boulder section of the playground.
After playing here, you can walk into Conejo Valley Botanical Garden which is especially beautiful in the Spring. On Sundays they have a children's area open from 11-3.
If you're hungry, drive over to ritzy The Oaks Mall. There's a food court with upscale cafes such as Stone Oven Sandwiches (really yummy!) and a gorgeous outdoor eating area with orange umbrellas.
