Will Rogers Memorial Park in Beverly Hills (not to be confused with Will Rogers State Beach near Malibu) is a gorgeous spot! Come to take in its beauty. Enjoy the wonderful old trees, flower, roses, tropical plants, and pond filled with koi and turtles. Kids enjoy looking in the pond. Look up at the tall, tall California palms and you know that you're in Beverly Hills! Even though you can still hear cars (you never get away from the sound of cars in LA), you will feel rejuvenated after a stroll around Will Rogers Memorial Park, the nicest park in Beverly Hills.
A formal garden with views of LA that is nice to walk around is Greystone Mansion gardens, nearby.
If you need a park with a large playground, check out Roxbury Park nearby.
