MacDonald Woods Playground and Trail, Cary
MacDonald Woods Park has a lovely playground in a recessed forest area. There is a big kids structure with monkey bars, a smaller structure, three spinners, swings, baby swings, bouncies, and cute round planters around trees. It just makes for an appealing scene. Plenty of kids come here to play.
After, walk the 0.7 mile Hinshaw Greenway straight from the playground, through the forest, over the freeway (fun for kids), to Kids Together Playground. It's fun to do two parks in one outing!
From MacDonald Woods Park, you can easily connect up with the Pirate's Cove Greenway (also 0.7 miles long), if you want to extend your walk.

MacDonald Woods Park is located at 1601 Seabrook Ave, Cary, NC 27511. There is parking along the road, Seabrook Ave, above the playground.
