Hahaione Neighborhood Park, Hawaii Kai

Hahaione Neighborhood Park is tucked back in a gorgeous valley. At dusk it has an enchanted feeling. The green mountains loom above you on three sides and the air feels heavy with moisture. As you drive down Ainapo Street to the park there's a nice view of the ocean. The playground is pink and blue striped- what fun! There are picnic tables in the shade of lovely trees. Tall Norfolk pines add to the beauty.

Directions

Hahaione Neighborhood Park is located near 780 Ainapo St, Honolulu HI 96825. Take the H1 Freeway east until it becomes Kalanianaole Hwy. Once you reach the suburb if Hawaii Kai, turn left on Hawaii Kai Drive. Turn left on Hahaione Street. Drive up into the valley and turn left on Ainapo Street. The park will be on your left.
For a pretty drive, go to the very northern end of Hahaione Street and you will be way back in the valley!
