Town Center Mall, Boca Raton

Town Center Mall in Boca Raton is an upscale indoor mall. It has many nice spots to hang out on public chairs near cafes and shops, which makes it a great resource on super hot days when you need AC! It is like a substitute for a city's main strip when it's just too hot to be outside. Beautiful features add to the pleasant feel like sun canopies, decorative towers, fountains, and atriums. There are plenty of classy stores to browse and youthful stores like PacSun.

A fun thing to do with kids at this mall is look at Boca Birdhouses, in the trees outside the east end of the mall. There are many cute birdhouses in the oak and palm trees!
Have a meal at one of the large chain restaurants like California Pizza Kitchen. If you just want a coffee, there's a Starbucks. Or even better, La Boulangerie, a French bakery with spacious indoor seating- unfortunately you can only sit down if you get waiter service. If you get counter service you can't sit down! This is a strange thing for a bakery, and very inconvenient if you have kids because kids don't want to wait for a waiter. It's also inconvenient for an adult with things to do that day! But you can sit outside on a bench by the cute birdhouses display.
For one of the best playgrounds ever, a carousel, splash pad, and small free science museum, check out nearby Sugar Sand Park.

Directions

Town Center Mall is located at 6000 Glades Rd, Boca Raton FL 33431, close to Highway 95. The mall is open Mon-Sat from 10-9, and Sunday from 12-6.
Exit Highway 95 at Glades Rd and head inland. Turn left on Renaissance Way and right on Town Center Dr, which leads into the mall parking lot. Parking is free.
