Boosinger Park is one of those lovely Pismo parks that you always leave with happy, happy memories! There is a playground that is nice for toddlers and bigger kids. Picnic tables dot the sloped lawn that has some pretty trees. The neighborhood, Pismo Heights, has upscale homes. There are swings and lots of grass.
Best of all- there are spectacular views! At first you don't see them, but climb the short rocky path to the top and you will be surprised by the views of Pismo city and beach. You can sit on the lovely rock ledge, feel the breeze, and take in the great views. The path was blocked off last time I visited, though.
This park gets a strong, cold breeze off the ocean, even in summer, so bring a jacket!
For another wonderful view, where pelicans love to stand on rock ledges, check out nearby Shell Beach Panoramic Walk.
Boosinger Park is located at 857 Wadsworth Ave, Pismo Beach 93449.
Exit Highway 101 northbound at Wadsworth Ave. Turn right and head uphill on Wadsworth Ave. You will see the park on your left. Park along the road.
Exit Highway 101 southbound at Highway 1/Dolliver St. Turn left on Wadsworth Ave. Head up the hill and you will see the park on your left. Park along the road.
