The Pumpkin Patch at Biddle Ranch in San Luis Obispo is huge and delightful! Here you can find a corn maze with tall, fresh stalks of corn growing abundantly. You can walk around for a long time, admiring the corn against the blue sky, and the gorgeous mountains in the distance. It's a lovely experience in nature! It costs $4 per person, and it's well-made so that you don't get terribly lost or panicked. After, roam the pumpkin fields where pumpkins of all different colors are still on the vine. It is so cute! There are even flamingo pink pumpkins, and pale peachy orange pumpkins, flat pumpkins, pumpkins with fat ridges, smooth yellow pumpkins, pale green ghostly pumpkins... every type you can imagine! You can buy pumpkins as well as other fresh vegetables.
In the afternoon, the light from the sun playing on the mountains is intriguing.
There are plenty of cute photo opportunities, including a little archway with seats on each sides, plus wagons stacked with pumpkins.
After, go to SLO Public Market, to extend your outing.
The Pumpkin Patch is open in October, 9am-6:30pm daily.
The address is 2226 Biddle Ranch Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. There is a dirt parking lot with plenty of parking spaces.
