Saint Christopher Church, Hobe Sound

Find a peaceful garden at Saint Christopher Church in Hobe Sound, which is open in the mornings. Palm trees rustle pleasantly as you walk the square courtyard stopping at each statue. There are statues of Saint Patrick, Saint Anthony, Saint Anne, Our Lady of Lourdes, Padre Pio, and Archangel Michael with his sword (he will really help you!). You can light a candle (there is a donation box to pay for the candle), and say a prayer. Look up at the vibrant gold tower. Joy! This is a lovely activity to do with your kids, to instill a feeling of always having a place to go if they need peace and comfort. You can let them choose which statue they want to light a candle beneath.

The priest is Irish, so if you get a chance to meet him, that is nice!
After, have a long walk on Hobe Sound Beach, after driving under a canopy of banyan trees.

Directions

Saint Christopher Church's parking lot can be accessed easily from 11901 SE Hercules Ave, or from the main road at 12001 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound. There is plenty of parking. 
The garden gates are open Mon-Fri 9-1, Sat 8-6, and Sun 6:30am-1pm.
