Sandsprit Park, Stuart

Stuart, FL, USA

Description

Sandsprit Park is a very inspiring place because of the views! The colors of the water are just amazing! Sandbars create stripes of luminous blue-green water. An island beckons to be explored (if you canoe to it). Fishermen hang out at the docks. There are plenty of benches, picnic tables with shade covers, and a fun playground with a pelican bouncy, see saw, monkey bars in a circle, sandy floor, and slides, all with a view of the water. The best part is standing where you can see the views of the mansions across the water and watching the clear water splash against the shore below you. The park itself is very dry but there is still some shade to be found here and there.
Afterwards, have a meal at one of Port Salerno's waterfront restaurants. Or drive north up SE St Lucie Blvd to where it meets Bent Banyan Way and you'll drive under a canopy of wonderful Banyan trees.
If you want to learn all about the area, go on a Sunshine Wildlife Boat Tour out here in the water- it's wonderful!
