Secret Walkway, Jupiter Island

Stuart, FL, USA

River Rd is a pedestrian-only (and golf carts too) street that follows the blissful intracoastal waterway in front of mansions with lush gardens of coconut trees, banyan trees, and blazing bouganvillea. It's lovely to stroll along with the golf-lovers, residents, and workers from the nearby golf course taking their break. Stop and listen to the sound of the water as the rowboats bob up and down in the waterway and hear the shimmer of the palm trees above.
There is no sidewalk on Gomez Rd, but if you walk it north to SE Bridge Rd you can make your walk longer by taking the stunning Banyan Tree Walk.
