Description

Hahaione Neighborhood Park is tucked back in a gorgeous valley. At dusk it has an enchanting feeling. The green mountains loom above you on three sides and the air feels heavy with moisture. As you drive down Ainapo Street to the park there's a nice view of the ocean. All the public playgrounds on Oahu have the same generic playset, but each park has its own unique feel.
There are restrooms.
If you're hungry, check out Hawaii Kai Places to Eat. For a pretty spot nearby beside the ocean and a park with basketball court, check out Kuliouou Beach Park and Paiko Lagoon.

Directions

Take the H1 Freeway east until it becomes Kalanianaole Hwy. Once you reach the suburb if Hawaii Kai, turn left on Hawaii Kai Drive. Turn left on Hahaione Street. Drive up into the valley and turn left on Ainapo Street. The park will be on your left.
For a pretty drive, go to the very northern end of Hahaione Street and you will be way back in the valley!
