Bradbury Dam Lookout

On a short road off Highway 154 there are two lookouts. The first one gives a panoramic view of the deep blue Lake Cachuma. It is a romantic spot! The second lookout gives a good view of Bradbury Dam. It's fun for kids to see a real dam! Apparently there is a swimming area at the dam, with a beach, though we haven't visited it yet.

Directions

As you drive along Highway 154 toward Santa Ynez, after you pass Lake Cachuma, you will see a blue sign that says "Vista Point." Turn in to this road. After 500ft you will come to the first lookout, of the lake. The second lookout, of the dam, is at the end of the road.
