Description
Veterans Memorial Park in Santa Paula is a hit with older kids because of its huge skatepark. The skatepark has two areas- a deep bowl, and a regular skate area with all sorts of structures to do tricks on. Little brothers and sisters can play on the toddler playground while the skaters have a blast. A huge lawn has lovely views of the mountains. From Veterans Memorial Park you can walk north on Mill St past historical buildings and the pretty Danish-style Glen Tavern Inn to the red railroad depot. Stroll along Main Street and you feel you've stepped back in time. Half a block north on 10th St you will find the California Oil Museum, an attractive museum with interesting exhibits and a working 1890s oil rig!
