It's beautiful to walk along the wooden boardwalk to the first sight of blue-green water! Continue down the boardwalk then steps, to the sand. Here you will find rough surf and a long beach. There is no lifeguard, which is nerve-wracking since the surf is strong. You can sit under the boardwalk for shade.
There are restrooms.
This beach is fairly far from anything, but there is a Publix supermarket a two minute drive south. The Starbucks in Indiatlantic is 13 minute drive north.
Don't swim after heavy rains, because of the septic tanks nearby.
Just slightly to the south is Juan Ponce de Leon Landing Beach, which has a sculpture and some information plaques, adding some interest to the beach.
Coconut Point Beach Park is located at 3535 Florida A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951. There is plenty of free parking.
