Oars and Paddles Park, Indian Harbour Beach

Oars and Paddles Park has a sweet location on a canal. From there you can kayak out to the Banana River. Or you can park and bike ride along the street at the tip of Merritt Island called the South Tropical Trail- it's beautiful. Kids enjoy this park because of the two themed playgrounds under awesome canopies. There are a few bbqs and picnic pavilions. It's just a small park but there are clean restrooms and a boat club. Walk along the little marina, Telemar Bay Marina, and check out the names of the boats.
Nine minutes north, check out Hightower Beach where there's a box of beach toys for kids to borrow.
