Spessard Holland North Beach Park is an easy place to stop and check out the ocean because of the free parking. Fishermen love to stay all day at the shore. There are some condos lining the beach to the north. A boardwalk ramp zig zags down to the sand. Sea oats grow in the sand and turtles make nests- if you come at night you might see one. While Indiatlantic beaches are more crowded and charge for parking, this beach is free and peaceful. The surf is quite strong here and there is no lifeguard, but if you swim you will enjoy the absence of rocks (beaches to the north have rocks)!

Billy's snack bar is sometimes here, and there is also a lifeguard, restrooms and showers. No dogs are allowed.
North of here is James Nance Beach, which has more people because it's near the shops. Parking is not free. It has a fun raised boardwalk area looking out on the beach, where people hang out.
South of here is Coconut Point Beach Park, another pretty spot, with less crowds.
