Drive under a canopy of trees along Beach Street to get to this nice spot. Front Street is a short street with a wooden boardwalk with cute roped sides and silvery palms with clusters of fruits. Here you can find some docks and watch the boats go by, from the Ponce Inlet up the Halifax River. There's a lovely breeze and it makes for a nice diversion. Enjoy the views of the water and food at the Down the Hatch Seafood Company, a popular spot.
After, climb the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, or walk along the jetty with views of the lighthouse at Lighthouse Point Park.
Another day, bring your kids to watch the huge forklifts raise boats onto platforms at Inlet Harbor Marina and then eat at Off the Hook.
Wade in the shallow, clear water at Ponce Preserve East Beach.
For a shady boardwalk with a breeze off the water, check out Port Orange Causeway Park.
Down the Hatch Seafood Company is located at 4894 Front St, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127.
