Inlet Harbor Marina, Ponce Inlet, Daytona
Inlet Harbor Marina is a fun place to bring little kids to watch huge forklifts lift boats high onto three-storey platforms. It's lovely to walk out on the dock and watch boats cruise up the Halifax River from Ponce Inlet. Check out the different strips of color in the water around the sandbars.
After, eat at Off the Hook, swinging on their chair swings, and checking out the blue-green views. It's a pretty walk from the parking lot past the palm trees and Caribbean style buildings.
Another nice marina nearby is Front Street Marina.
You can also climb the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse, or walk the long jetty at Lighthouse Point Park.
Wade in the shallow, clear water at Ponce Preserve East Beach. For a shady boardwalk with a breeze off the water, check out Port Orange Causeway Park.
