Port Orange Causeway Park, Daytona
At Port Orange Causeway Park you can come in summer and find some shade with a breeze off the water! There is a boardwalk under the shade of the causeway.
Turn right and park on the right end of the parking lot and you will see the wooden boardwalk.
Many families fish here, and there are birds hanging out waiting for some fish to grab. We saw the cutest bird with yellow feet!
After, eat with water views at Down the Hatch at Front Street Marina. Or bring your kids to watch the huge forklifts raise boats onto platforms at Inlet Harbor Marina and then eat at Off the Hook. Climb the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, or walk along the jetty with views of the lighthouse at Lighthouse Point Park. Or wade in the shallow, clear water at Ponce Preserve East Beach.
