5th Avenue South, Naples
5th Avenue South is a main street with expensive restaurants. There is really nothing for kids to eat or do here. It is snooty to the max with a very clinical feel to it. Something as simple as a plate of spaghetti costs $20. There is very little shade and it is extremely hot to walk along here from May to October.
After we saw the outrageous prices, we skipped this spot. Instead, we found a nice Italian restaurant that is family friendly at Coastland Center, called Aurelio's Pizza, a seven minute drive north, at 2048 Tamiami Trail North, Naples 34103. The ravioli was delicious.
