City of Dahlonega Park

City of Dahlonega Park is a basic park with a large lawn, big kid playground, toddler playground, swings, and a nice tricycle path. Kids can bike around the entire park on the path, following the arrows. The alphabet is also painted on one section of the path- kids can leap from letter to letter.

Afterwards, pick up a sandwich at Corner Kitchen, just up the hill (on Mechanic Street) on the way back to town. There is a lovely view of a turn in the road from the window in the cafe and the sandwiches are delicious!
Or head to the main town square and check out the Gold Museum, shops, and quaint storefronts.
Another playground to check out is Yahoola Creek Park at 1166 Captain MacDonald Road.
