RK Center, Sunny Isles Beach

RK Center (North and South) is a great little plaza with cafes and shops. What makes it unique are the two incredible and modern 53-floor skyscrapers, Jade Condos, across the street. Sit here at the huge, spacious Starbucks with floor to ceiling windows and a large patio looking out on the gigantic waterfall fountain in front of one of the skyscrapers. There is nice people-watching as there are plenty of interesting people chatting and hanging out. Afterward, walk across the street to gorgeous Sunny Isles Beach. There is a beach access path on the north side of the two gigantic Jade skyscrapers.
A peaceful and beautiful place a 16 minute drive from here is Oleta River State Park.
