Runners and walkers flock to this path on weekends. It is a three mile (5K) loop with an additional 1K fitness loop (with some fitness stations such as chin-up bars). The ground is hard-packed dirt with some gravel in the middle of the path occasionally. It's very doable! There are hills here and there, and near the beginning, a nice wetland area with sunny open spaces, a bridge, and flowers. Most of the path is deep in the forest with very little light coming through. If you like to be thick in nature but with plenty of runners zipping by, this is the place for you. After, enjoy a refreshing drink at Madhatter's Cafe and Bakeshop, a gorgeous cafe with modern architecture, huge windows, and a youthful clientele.
