Carolina Inn Fridays on the Porch, Chapel Hill

Carolina Inn's Fridays on the Front Porch is full of southern atmosphere. Here in front of a grand historic hotel entrance, under gorgeous oak trees, the town of Chapel Hill gathers to listen to live music each Friday night from 5-8pm during the warm season (May to mid-October). There is wine and beer for sale, plus food truck meals. Plenty of white folding chairs provide a comfortable place to sit. Kids can run around on the grass while everyone has a great time. The music is usually something mild and southern, like a bluegrass trio. There are people of all ages including lots of college students from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which is across the street. After, walk around campus or along happening Franklin Street.
Carolina Inn was built in 1924 on the site of the chapel that gave Chapel Hill its name!

Carolina Inn is located at 211 Pittsboro St, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. You can park in the Nash parking lot around 268 Pittsboro Street, behind the Newman Catholic Student Center Parish.
