Meadowmont Village Restaurants, Chapel Hill
Meadowmont Village is a lovely place to sit outside in the sun by the fountain and enjoy a sweet potato biscuit from Carolina Bakery! If it's cold you can sit inside and look out their big windows. You can also choose Starbucks, across Barbee Chapel Road. Or sit outside at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza or Chronic Tacos. This is a sleepy, suburban area but nice nonetheless.
In summer on the first Friday night of each month (May-Oct) at 6pm there is live music at Meadowmont Village.
After your coffee or meal, take a wonderful stroll on the Meadowmont bike path, which goes for one mile, past forest, flowers, little hills, and a pond with a fountain.
On Old Barn Lane there is a nice recessed park with a playground for little kids.
