Pritchard Park is a very pretty spot behind the Chapel Hill Public Library. Here, enchanting play areas are situated in the middle of a bright leafy forest. Kids can play two beautiful-sounding xylophones, climb on tree trunks, touch four animal sculptures, or dig in sand (not sure I would want to do this right in the forest because of ticks). A short paved walking path takes you over a bridge, past a grassy hill, behind the gorgeous glass library, to a silver sculpture.
After, have some climbing fun at Chapel Hill Community Center Park, a four minute drive away.
