Pritchard Park is a very pretty spot behind the Chapel Hill Public Library. Here, enchanting play areas are situated in the middle of a bright leafy forest. Kids can play two beautiful-sounding xylophones, climb on tree trunks, touch four animal sculptures, or dig in sand (not sure I would want to do this right in the forest because of ticks). A short paved walking path takes you over a bridge, past a grassy hill, behind the gorgeous glass library, to a silver sculpture.
After, have some climbing fun at Chapel Hill Community Center Park, a four minute drive away.
Pritchard Park is located behind the Chapel Hill Public Library at 100 Library Dr, Chapel Hill NC 27514. There is plenty of parking in two big lots.
