Aki's Beach, Makaha
Aki's Beach is an adorable little cove. Kids play on the shore here. There is some shade on the rocks, created by trees, but the beach itself has no shade. Often there are turtles in the water! What a magical little spot. The beach is accessed by a public beach access path between two houses in a neighborhood.
Just a ten minute walk south is another gorgeous beach, Hawaiian Princess Beach.
You can have another wonderful swim in shallow-enough water at Makua Beach, where incredible mountains loom above you. It is ten minutes drive north.

Aki's Beach is located at 84-725 Upena St, Waianae HI 96792. You can park along the road in the neighborhood. Do not leave any valuables in your car or on the beach.
