Waikiki Wall is a jetty with a gazebo on the end, in the heart of Waikiki Beach. It is a popular bodyboarding spot where the reef is inches from your knees! Bodyboarders paddle out on the left side of the jetty and then ride the waves, coming close to the rock wall that makes the Waikiki Beach Ocean Swimming Pool. I used to do it when I was a teenager!
It's wonderful to walk along the jetty, where you have incredible views on both sides, of the highrises lining the beach to the north, and the clear water and hundreds of coconut trees to the south, at the Queen's Surf Boardwalk. People snorkel on the left side of the jetty, admiring the little tropical fish.
At night the views here are very romantic, with the city lights reflected on the calm water.
