Canyon View Park, Aliso Viejo

It's nice to stand on the street at the top of Canyon View Park and look at the hills and mountains all around you. The park itself is in a deeply recessed canyon. It has a walking path, large lawn, and playground with shade canopy. It's a pleasant spot with cactus and other plants. There is also a hiking trail.
After, have a meal or ice cream at Aliso Viejo Town Center. Your kids will love running around the fountain there.
