Art Deco Sunset Walk, Celebration
You can feel like you're in Miami while you're in Orlando! On Celebration Blvd in Celebration there are some awesome Art Deco-style buildings. Starting at World Drive, where you get off Highway 4, you will find an Art Deco 7-Eleven gas station and an Art Deco McDonalds! Park at Astoria Apartments, which are more Art Deco buildings, or on any of the side streets. Sunset is when you want to come since the buildings look stunning against the pink and purple sky, and then at night they are lit up like out of a Superman movie. Rows of tall California palms stretch above you, also looking wonderful silhouetted against the sunset sky. The Art Deco style ends around Waterside Dr. Then you can head back to your car. This walk is two miles total.
If you want to see two more Art Deco buildings, park at Market Street and check out the round grey post office building, then walk down by Kilwin's Chocolates and check out the Art Deco movie theater spires. You can grab something to eat here in the main part of Celebration town and enjoy the fun atmosphere where people gather on the concrete stairs by the lake.
