Crane's Roost Park, Altamonte Springs

Crane's Roost Park is the place to go if you want to jog or walk, inspired by many others doing the same around you. The architecture in this development is gorgeous and will keep you happy as you sweat! A walkway takes you around the entire lake, crossing twice on long bridges. There are gorgeous seating areas on the bridges with pretty lights at night. This park has hills, which makes it all the more attractive. On the south side of the lake is a European-style plaza with a lawn where kids can kick a ball and a fountain that puts on a music show at 7,8 and 9pm. Quaint benches border the square amongst the flower bushes. A tower with archways stands above. Fancy lampposts are everywhere.

An amphitheater area with steps that go up the hill looks out on a stage on the water.
Little sandy areas line the lake, where kids can play and watch the lovely birds. Cypress stand tall and regal on the lake's shore. This park has a good mix of nature and man-made decorations.
At night you can feel pretty safe here because there are many other people around.
Have a meal at Tabouli Grille, in the shopping plaza on Crane's Roost Blvd, on your right before you go down the hill to the park. The decor is sweet, with patterned booths, the food is delicious, and the cafe is very clean.

Directions

Crane's Roost Park is located at the end of Cranes Roost Blvd where it dead ends into the mall parking lot. You can park along the road on Cranes Roost Blvd as you come down the hill, or you can follow the road to the end and park in the mall parking lot.
