Crayola Experience is upstairs inside the Crayola store in The Florida Mall. I don't like malls, especially ones as loud, rowdy, and crowded as this one. But once inside the Crayola Experience area there are a lot of fun things to do. One really cool thing is to draw a picture and then load it onto a huge wall where a projector shows your picture interacting with other people's drawings in a themed background. Kids love this. They can run up to the huge screen and see their picture floating there on the wall!
Another great one is a fashion and race car area (to please both girls and boys) where kids can color a picture of a fashion model or a race car and then watch as it comes on the screen, on a fashion runway or a race track.
A memorable activity is choosing a crayon color and then naming it after yourself, where it is then printed on a wrapper and you get to wrap it permanently on a crayon with a heavy machine.
There are many other activities and you could spend hours in here having fun.
There are many restaurants to choose from, on the perimeter of the mall or in the food court, if you get hungry. We went to Panera Bread, across the street from the mall, where it was less crowded and we had a delicious meal.
Another fun attraction 15 minutes drive away is Ripley's Believe It or Not.
