Hannibal Square, Winter Park

Hannibal Square is two blocks of delightful architecture lined with chic restaurants and some shops, two blocks west of Park Ave. It is dead in the afternoon but comes to life at dinnertime. It is a very pretty area and definitely worth visiting for a dinner meal to change things up a bit from always going to Park Ave.  Mi Tomatina Paella Bar has great atmosphere at its outdoor seating and live music on Friday nights. There are also some classy nightclubs.
The heritage center was closed when I came during their open hours. Across the street from the square is a humble park called Shady Park where you can take a stroll after your meal. It has a mickey mouse sculpture.
