Orlando World Center Marriott is a super fun resort to stay at! The pool area is a paradise. Waterfalls cascade into the pool, which is more like a lake than a pool it's so big. You can swim under the waterfalls! Fires beside the pool at night make for a nice spot to warm up after your swim. The hotel building has an attractive terraced design, which looks great as you swim around the pool. Even if it's windy outside, for some reason the pool area is sheltered from it and kids can play happily in the pleasant weather. The only downside is that sometimes they have giant TVs playing sports over the pool, and they are way too bright- it is very unpleasant and takes away from the mood.

There is a water park with a lazy river on the far side of the hotel, plus a kids zero entry pool with splash zone on the level above the pool. The splash zone is nice because the splash features spray from above, making them cleaner. There is a giant chess board in a shaded area above the pool- it's fun for kids to play their parents.  At night there is a laser show at the pool with fun 80s music.
A fun thing about the hotel is that the elevator shoots through the glass roof. It's a real experience! Ride to the top floor! Kids will want to do it over and over again.
The rooms are spacious with big, comfortable beds, and have wonderful views of the expansive forests in Orlando from their high balconies.
The sports bar is noisy but fun to eat at. If you can though, leave the hotel and eat at Bahama Breeze, a Caribbean restaurant with a giant outdoor patio where you can sit in a tropical setting and listen to a reggae musician playing a steel drum and singing (this is quite loud). We eat here every time we go to Orlando because it's so good! See link to Fort Myers branch for photos of what this restaurant looks like.
Another fantastic resort in Orlando is Hyatt Grand Cypress.
