Terramar Beach has steep steps leading down, a cozy cove, and red cliffs like a national park! When you reach the sand, you can go to the left where there is a ledge of red rock. From there you can look inside little canyons of red rock. It is pure beauty! If, when you reach the sand, you go right, you come to rows of beach houses. Here the cliffs have eroded and been replaced with cement, which is quite strange-looking.

Along the shore you can find smooth pebbles of varied colors. The streaks in the sand are mineral deposits.
Many people come to this beach to stroll, surf, picnic, and most of all, admire the red cliffs.
I love this beach! It is magical!
After, have a bite to eat at the modern shopping center with cafes called The Square at Bressi Ranch, a fifteen minute drive inland. Or, closer by, a five minute drive away, have a delicious boba tea at Tea Monks, in Carlsbad Premium Outlets Mall.
