Arata Pumpkin Farm is the disneyland of pumpkin farms. In autumn the land here is tranformed into a sort of fun park for kids and adults. The amazing hay maze has secret doors and a minotaur that sometimes gives you golden pumpkins. There is an adorable petting zoo, haunted house, giant king kong, pumpkin river, corn fields to wander, hay rides, mini-train rides, toddler land playground, sword fighting shows in an arena, and pony rides. It's expensive because each thing costs a few dollars or more. It can get crowded around Halloween so come early! Avoid during the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival weekend, when it's too crowded.
Most of the attractions are only available in October, but the maze might be available other times of year, starting in July (call to ask).
