Twin Peaks Lookout is an area high up, with a parking lot in between two hills. From the parking lot area, you can see panoramic views of the city. You can also climb steps on each of the dry, barren hills to get even higher up. In the morning, it is foggy here and you can't see anything at all! Come in the early afternoon for the least chance of fog. It is very windy. This area is not particularly pretty, because even though you can see a lot of the city, there isn't anything that memorable to view, just sprawl. The drive up isn't very pretty either. I don't know why this site is one of the top on tripadvisor. I'd rather see views from Golden Gate Bridge.
The parking lot and lookout are located at 501 Twin Peaks Blvd, San Francisco. You often have to wait a while for someone to leave so that you can park.
