Smell the ocean air as you sit on the big lawn at Oceano Park and watch your little tikes have an amazing time on this imaginative playground. There is a ship, fake palm trees, monkey bars galore, stepping stools, tire swing, baby swings, port holes to peek through, zipline, and bouncy fish. Across the street you can see the ducks in the lagoon. Kids enjoy walking over to the airstrip on Air Park Dr where to see yellow biplanes taking off. Bring a sweater because it can be windy and cold.

We were so happy to find this park at lunchtime after our walk at Oso Flaco Lake. We stopped and had a great picnic!
At the beach nearby, run on the wild dunes at Oceano Dunes and watch the off-road vehicle enthusiasts prepare for fun.
While in the area, check out the wonderful monarch butterfly preserve in Pismo Beach. Or eat at a restaurant in Pismo town by the pier.

I go to Oceano every year. And each year is just as good as the last, if not better. My whole family loves it.
