You can try TAP Thai Cuisine (the pad thai is not good), Hochaya Bubble Tea, or Jeannine's Bakery and Cafe (which has outdoor seating by a fountain). Choppa Poke and Kyle's Kitchen are nearby, past CVS. These are all in new, modern spaces! After, walk around Hollister Village, where your kids can run on the big lawn.
Drive five minutes to magical Bacara Beach, the beach below the Spanish-tiled Bacara Resort, a wild beach where you can listen to pebbles clanging on the shore.
