Charleston Crab House, James Island, Charleston

If you want to get out of the grunge of downtown Charleston, head over the bridge to James Island. It's lovely to eat at Charleston Crab House, which has a really good feel to it, on the water. The prices are expensive but there are some less expensive options such as the mahi sandwich. Make sure you get grits- they are DELICIOUS here! The restaurant doesn't take reservations so show up early. You can sit outside or inside- both areas are attractive.
