Pepper Park Beach is a pretty beach with fine pale sand and blue-green water. A boardwalk leads you past scrubland where large turtles roam. Then you arrive at the beach where a cool breeze blows. The beach is wide open with condos in the distance. It's great for a swim or building sand castles.

There are slightly iffy restrooms and showers that don't work well, beside the parking lot.
To get to this beach you have to drive through some plain, barren parts of town. But once you cross the bridge to the island, you see some pretty sights including the Indian River and little islands in the middle of it. There are mostly elderly people at this beach, but if you bring your child, he or she will almost always find another child to play with because there are so few children that they appreciate each other! Another walkway that leads to this beach is behind the Navy Seal Museum, where there is an absolutely gorgeous little pathway through a canopy of jungle. Picture perfect with the blue-green water ahead.
If you're hungry, head to the waterfront in Fort Pierce. For a beautiful drive, enjoy the 15 miles of Indian River Dr to Jensen Beach.
