In the winding streets above Whale Beach, you can park your car and take a little hike through bushland to a lichen-speckled boulder. Here, stretched before you is a lovely view of the waterways of Pittwater and the little sailboats that inhabit this bay side of the peninsula. Let the strong breeze rush through your hair and think about what a wonderful life you have!
McKay Reserve Lookout is accessed by winding streets above Whale Beach. From Whale Beach Rd, take Norma Rd. Turn right on Bynya Rd, then left on Cynthea Rd. Follow it as it winds right becoming Ebor Rd. Then immediately turn left on McKay Rd and park along the road when you see a path on your left.
