Spit West Reserve, Mosman

The Spit West Reserve, in Mosman, is an incredibly beautiful spot with water on both sides below lush hills dotted with mansions. As you drive north down the hill on Highway 10 toward the Spit bridge, the view is exquisite! You can pull off the road at the parking lot and take it all in at the wide park beside the water, on the west side of the highway. There is a jogging path a few feet above a strip of sand where kids build and play. Watch the sailboats and yachts glide by.
Grab a picnic at Chiosco, which offers Italian street food takeout.

Directions

Spit Reserve West is a thin strip of land on the west side of the Spit. From Highway 10 heading north, pull off into the parking lot on the left (west) side of the road.  Click "satellite" to see the amazing colors of the water.
